August:

- Personally Met Russell Peters at the Mississauga City Hall!!
This was way out of the ordinary.. my friend and I were just there to practice for Funk Fo Yo Feet while there was some Wedding Photo shoot going on at the city hall. So while we were poppin' and locking and whatnot, we see this dude that walks out of the entrance to the garden.................and my buddy was like "this guy looks EXACTLY like Russell Peters O.o" so then i ask him... "Are you Russell Peters?!" he replies with a nod >____< mannnnnn that was the most random experience EVER... and he started poppin too with his waves and stuff xD crazyyyy day!!

- Funk Fo Yo Feet~
Well, for those who don't know me too well... besides my life dedication to japanese rock music and visual-kei, I'm also a Funkstyler( a street dance style which involves Waving, Locking, Tutting, Hitting, Botting, Boogaloo and is also known as Popping).
This underground street dance culture shares its roots with Bboy/breakdancing and has a historic span of about 40 years from the earliest forms of the dance.
Aside from these historical facts, On August the 11th... there was this HUUUGE event Called Funk Fo Yo Feet 2007 which took place downtown Toronto. Some of the most highly skilled and experienced poppers were there to compete in the tournament which i attempted to enter lol. So i registered for the Preliminary Qualifications Round and of course... with all these amazing poppers who were way out of my league, i didnt stand a chance... xD. Other than that, that day was one of the most amazing experience of my life so far. I've always wanted to participate in an event like this one and im really glad i did this year ^-^... and certainly for next year, im going to aim for the grand prize ;)

- Today (yesterday, technically =p):
After my 1.5hr shift at work (rofl) I went to the monday Bboy sessions to practice my popping and meet up with friends. Ended up going verrrry early and even missed my stop so i had to take another bus back -_- .......
So half of the time im poppin' and learning how to breakdance too.. the other half im raiding my friend's Sketchbook with my drawings of caricatures and such >.<
So now im home, and quite satisfied with the order i just made a couple hours ago (....following details....):

yay.... haha cant wait for it to arrive in mail ^-^

i havent done any kind of ordering before this in such a long ass time too x_X

I think i have surpassed my own record of ultimate lateness for opening at work.
Being an hour late really does bring me closer to the last of my working days at my store xD
but whatever, I've been working there for a year and I do tend to get sick of it. The same thing everyday, I really need a new job.
And minimum wage doesn't prove it's worth... so..... I've applied to Donato, and I really hope i get the job there. At least, with the hair that i have on my head, I wont be getting as much shocking reactions from customers when they look at me since I'm working at a freaking Salon where everyone working there has funky/crazy hair.

Oh and the Mall management came by to have some sort of important discussion with my boss. And I was one of the subjects of their conversation. Regarding the complaints that I've been getting from LOWLIFE spies that work at TipTop Tailers. I swear I want to just throw a grenade in there or something. Everyone working there just HAS to fucking stare at me to see if im doing my work. Like fuck... please die. Then they go snitch at me for the lamest shit. Fucking ugly ass dickheads. But yeah, fuck buckle up, i can't wait to find a new job. Everyday... dealing with fake thuggers who go nuts over some garbage knockoff plastic buckle pieces of shit. Talk about sever low standards for style.

I really want a need job... where my pay is actually decent.... so I can FINALLY start ordering releases from Brand-X and Thirdstage and whatever else. Cause of now im too short on cash to get myself anything. Sucks ass.................

A result of boredom..

Ok so.. I honestly have nothing to do tonight. So I went on LJ to look for new jrock downloads as usual but then I thought.. hmmm, why dont I update my lj page while im at it o.@

And so I have. And I guess.. it looks better than the plain void that it once was. And still kind of is~ for now =P
But of course, there shall be more added when I am not lazy.......... xD

Besides this REVOLUTION, I would like to complain on how dreadful this week is going to be for me. Pure work. My shifts have doubled for this week since my co-worker/friend is away on some kind of guitar camp (lucky him...). It's worse because time goes super slow when you're sitting on a chair/standing in front of chair, waiting for customers/giving dirty looks to people passing by who give me weird stares(obviously because of the way i style my hair =_=) ALL DAY. Oh well, no worries.. by now, I am of course, completely used to this >=] and most of the time I find it very amusing!

hmmmm WHAT ELSE?!
well earlier today I was watching Transformers -YET AGAIN- but on my computer =]. I dont think I could ever get sick of watching this film.. It's beyond amazing!

Well the day is nearing it's end and it will only be a few hours until I sleep and wake up for crappy ass work tomorrow.
And I think I should start working on Vic's jrock music/pv compilation that I semi-promised her. I should have it done by the time she heads off to HK. If not then oh well >.<

SOOOON I am to start working on my new Bandana. Midway to completing the design on photoshop. Once that part's done, I'll send it over to DPI so that the boss there can ink/print my design on the bandana piece.
